Pilateso is a boutique wellness studio dedicated to helping you feel stronger, more balanced, and more connected to your body. Our approach blends expert instruction with thoughtful programming, creating an environment where every body feels supported and empowered.

We believe movement should feel encouraging — not intimidating. That’s why our classes are designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re beginning your fitness journey or refining your practice.

Introduction to Reformer

These classes are designed for anyone new to reformer Pilates or returning after a break. You’ll learn how the reformer works, explore fundamental movements, and build confidence in a supportive, unhurried environment. We take things step by step, ensuring you feel comfortable, safe, and ready to enjoy regular classes. You must attend at least 3 of these classes before attending any other reformer classes.

Reformer Level 1

These classes focus on building strong foundations in a supportive and progressive way. You’ll work on core strength, alignment, mobility, and control while learning key reformer exercises and transitions. These classes are ideal for beginners who have completed an Introduction to Reformer, or for anyone wanting to refine technique, build confidence, and move with greater awareness and strength.

Reformer Level 2

These classes are designed for those with a foundational understanding of Reformer techniques who are ready to take their skills to the next level. They focus on refining your form while introducing more challenging exercises that emphasise strength, flexibility, and coordination. You'll explore a variety of movements that engage your entire body, with an emphasis on core stability and alignment.

Reformer Level 3

These classes are our most advanced offering, designed for experienced clients with strong technique, body awareness, and confidence on the reformer. These sessions feature complex sequences, higher intensity, and advanced variations that challenge strength, stability, coordination, and control. Classes move at a quicker pace while maintaining precision, making them ideal for those seeking to push their practice and explore the full potential of the reformer.

What is reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a dynamic, full-body exercise method performed on a specialised piece of equipment called a reformer, which uses springs, pulleys, and a moving carriage to create resistance and support. It focuses on controlled, precise movement to build strength, improve flexibility, enhance posture, and support joint health, all while emphasising breath and core control. Suitable for all fitness levels, Reformer Pilates can be adapted to be gentle or highly challenging, making it an effective and versatile way to move better, feel stronger, and support everyday life.

At Pilateso we assign levels to classes so you know what to expect.  If you’re new to Pilates, after you attend Introduction to Reformer classes, we will let you know which level is right for you.

Strengthen, tone, and improve posture using the Reformer machine, suitable for all fitness levels.

Private Sessions

One-to-one or duet sessions tailored to your goals for personalised guidance and faster results.

Mat Pilates

Low-impact, equipment-free sessions focusing on core strength, flexibility, and body awareness.

Reformer HIIT

This high intensity workout will challenge you, build strength, power, and improve your cardiovascular health. This is a hybrid class done on the reformer and the mat.

Stretch and Mobility

A class focused on enhancing flexibility, improving joint range of motion, and promoting overall body awareness through targeted movements and stretches. (This class is mat based.)

Strong Bones

A class designed to enhance bone density and strength through resistance training, helping to maintain mobility and prevent osteoporosis as we age. (This class is mat based.)

This is for people who are new to reformer.

Classes open to teens will be marked on the schedule.

Adhoc Mat Classes

This is for any of our mat-based classes. Sign up, turn up.

Mats are provided, but feel free to bring your own.

This option is popular with those who often work away or are unsure of work schedules.
